Tuscan Cooking Class at Trattoria del Lupo

Join us at Trattoria del Lupo (located at Mandalay Bay) for a "hands on" Italian cooking class with our Wolfgang Puck trained chefs, and hear their secrets.

TOUR NARRATIVE:
* Tuscan Cooking Class, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Guests rotate through each station. Each station will run approximately 30-40 minutes. Stations include:
Station 1: Risotto (Wild Mushroom Risotto; Seafood Risotto)
Station 2: Pizzas (Margherita; Baby Artichoke Pizza with Roasted Eggplant and Ricotta)
Station 3: Tiramisu

* Luncheon, 12:30 - 2:00 pm
Luncheon includes: Italian Caesar Salad with Polenta, Croutons, Toasted Pine Nuts and Parmesan, plus, either Chicken Scaloppini with Sauteed Escarole and Sauce Piccata or Mustard Glaze Grilled Salmon with Green Beans, Almonds and Basil and Apple Crostada with Vanilla Ice Cream.

A distance from the glitter and glamour of Las Vegas lies the magnificent Hoover Dam and picturesque Lake Mead. Begin your exciting journey as your tour guide relates the legends and tales (old and new) of the history and everyday life of those men who built Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel that tamed the Colorado River. During your visit, you’ll have time to view the exhibits, take the large elevator 500 feet down the wall of Black Canyon and view the Nevada wing of the power plant and from Hoover Dam’s Observation Terrace you’ll have wonderful photo opportunities of the panoramic vista of Lake Mead, the Dam and Colorado River.

After the dam, you’re off to Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden, featuring beautiful desert plants and over 300 cacti. Enjoy a walk through this unique garden and sample a delicious treat. Your journey started with man’s project to tame a river, and ends with a visit to a unique garden that preserves the desert’s natural beauty.

SPECIAL NOTE: Discovery Tour includes “take the large elevator 500 feet down the wall of Black Canyon and view the Nevada wing of the power plant”. Regular Visitor’s Center Admission does not.
